William F. Bastien Hons BA LLB CPL

Bill attended Law School at Queens University and was called to the Bar (Ontario) in 1989. Prior to Law School, Bill received a Hons. B.A. from McMaster University in Hamilton.

Bill’s area of practice includes real estate law (commercial and residential), corporate/commercial law and wills/estates/trust law. Bill represents both institutional and private clients, from large corporations to pro bono work for people in need. While Bill’s practice is transactional based, he frequently provides advice to people on their estate planning needs. He has taught law at Mohawk College.

 Bill is a founding member, director and officer of the Rotary Club of Burlington North and is a ‘Paul Harris Fellow’. Bill is a member of the Hamilton Law Association, Halton Law Association, Hamilton Lawyers Club and the Ontario Bar Association. Bill is also an active member of the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association. In his spare time, you will often find Bill skiing with his wife, Leigh Ann, and children, Gary and Grace.
