Michael MacPherson B.A. (Hons) LL.B.
Michael obtained his Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Jerome's College, University of Waterloo in 1981. He subsequently obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1987 and was admitted to the Bar of Ontario in 1989. Michael has been in private practice since that date.
His practice is concentrated in the areas of estates administration and estate planning, residential and commercial real estate and family law. Michael's family law practice is focused primarily within the Collaborative process. Michael is a founding member of both the Niagara and Hamilton Collaborative Family Law Practice Groups. He has also served as an executive member of the Ontario Collaborative Law Federation.
Michael resides with his wife and three children in Hamilton and is actively involved in the local community including participating as a Board member on a local non-profit organization and coaching minor soccer. In his spare time, he enjoys playing old timers hockey in the Stoney Creek Old timers Hockey Association.
