Catherine Ivey B.A. LL.B.
Catherine is a graduate of McMaster University, and has received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Geography with a specialist designation in Urban Planning. In 2000, she received her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Western Ontario Law School, and was Called to the Bar in Ontario in 2002. Catherine joined MMWIM in 2006 and practises in the area of Corporate and Commercial Law as well as Estate Planning. Prior to joining MMWIM, Catherine practised law at another Hamilton firm and was the instructor of a law course at a local private high school. Catherine has experience in many different areas of solicitors work with a particular interest in commercial leasing.
Born and raised in Dundas, Ontario, Catherine is actively involved in the community. She serves as a board member for the Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton and holds the position of Treasurer on the Estate Planners' Council of Hamilton.
